This is truly a beautiful gift idea - I got it for my soon to be father in law to give him on our wedding day. The reason for not giving 5 stars is the pen case is not securely closed. If you tip it slightly the lid falls open which is somewhat disappointing. I don't expect it to be tight where you have to pry it open, but it's so loose it is like the lid is just sitting on it, I don't know what the point of the hinges are really. I would have paid extra for a latch option if they had one! I did message the seller and they said as it is handmade that is to be expected, so I am posting this review to help others to "expect" a loose lid as well! Really beautiful work done though - just wish the lid hinged a little more tighter to the case.
